Asian antique style Tansu/chest

Thanks for checking out this tansu.

The tansu is of a classic simple style (Korean perhaps?).

I bought it 4 years ago for about 100,000yen and would like to sell it since I will be moving in a month or so. I would be willing to accept 30-40,000yen.

There is a bit of damage and a couple of cracks, but doesn’t really affect the piece. Adds more character than anything..

If you can pick it up (I live in Minato ku, Tokyo) area, that would be
great. Of course can arrange a moving company if required.

The size of the tansu/chest is about 1 tatami and about 60cm in height.

Dark brown with simple metal on the doors and drawers.

Truely is a lovely piece of furniture and reluctant to sell..

Couch which folds out into a bed. Its not in the best condition, but it works, and has been a sturdy workhorse. Good if you have mates over a lot and need to crash..

As the name implies, our philosophy here at DHFFMUWBRs is “We not too fast, we not too slow.” No fanatics, but dawdlers are discouraged. Our energies are directed toward two concepts: exercise and beer. Rides entail distances of at least 30 kilometers, sometimes up to 60 or 100 or even more, and we usually begin from central Tokyo. As a rule, no trains or cars required to get out of (or back into) town. Rides take from two to six hours, depending on the amount of socializing we do (and number of beer breaks we take).
